Some tips when searching for classy and high-end looking boots:

Look for simple, clean designs with small gold or silver details, especially in riding boots.
When it comes to high boots, make sure the boot holds its shape well and is neither too tight nor too wide for your leg. The most elegant length of a high boot is just under the knee.
